Governor Terry McAuliffe announced his proposed amendments to the current budget and the upcoming biennial budget today at a press conference in Richmond. Those amendments include increased funding for Virginia schools, public safety and other core priorities, while increasing the unappropriated balance in the introduced budget from $50.9 million to $51.1 million.
